Seller has given negative feedback despite almost 3 months of waiting for this item. I have escalated the matter with PayPal because they stated Australia had placed a ban from the USA - which is NOT true. No plausible reason was given as to why the USPS held orders in their Chicago branch, I've been receiving other items from the USA without problems. However this has been escalated with PayPal and LaceMarket due to inconsistent communication. Seller states they always kept me up to date, which was partly reasonable, however they only replied when I sent them a direct message. I have all the evidence in my emails they only responded when I asked for an update or follow up. I regret to suspend the transaction with them as they seemed like a reasonable person, but they were not responsive unless I asked or reached out. Seller charged me extra on shipping because they assumed I lived within the US and despite my account stating I'm in Australia both in LaceMarket and paypal, they decided to charge me extra. Paypal admin warned me about this and said I shouldn't be held responsible for someone else's mistake on not checking the destination country, despite both Paypal and lacemarket are correctly detailed as Australia. Furthermore, Seller took it in to their decision to suggest lacemarket ban my account? On what grounds? I've had really good sales and reputation. And only due to them not getting their way they assume things and give bad feedback when it was the seller who assumed from the beginning (charged me extra due to assuming I was in the US, assuming Australia had banned international imports when this was NOT true). They said and assumed a lot of incorrect information which was misleading and seemed lazy in my opinion. Please consider buying or dealing from this seller before hand, as they obviously assume incorrect facts regardless of Covid problems affecting the world freight. I've checked with my Government and local councils, Australia is not banning international shipping as the seller stated. So please, get your facts right and don't assume things if you are not 100% legitimately aware of the truth. I was the one who informed them that USPS had decided to detain packages to Australia and other countries, I would like to think they would have been told, updated etc by their post office, but no actual evidence or plausible reason was given ever. I have the item tracking on my email notifications (emails from both USPS and Australia Post so I get updates from the item if/when it gets scanned). I have proof and willing to share and have given my side of evidence to Paypal. It is one thing to wait, but the other is giving false and misleading information and 'assumptions' on things during the transaction. I suggest in future seller makes contact with their US postal service prior to shipping out and giving incorrect information/over charging shipping because they assume the wrong facts. Will not purchase from again sorry, seller seems too lazy to do things correctly. [MOD edit: PayPal returned money to seller, item marked as delivered in Australia]
